On September 10, 2024, an Athletics Meet was held at Public School Hyderabad to commemorate Defence Day 2024. Organized by the Government of Sindh, the event saw participation from various institutes across Sindh. The meet featured eight competitive events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4×100m relay, long jump, shot put, and javelin throw.
Cadet College Petaro distinguished itself as the standout team of the event. Out of the twenty cadets who competed, they achieved an impressive haul of 9 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals. This outstanding performance earned Cadet College Petaro the prestigious Champions Trophy, marking them as the top overall team in the meet.
